The Lucy Project

The Lucy Project is a series of three posters and a short video. Each poster highlights a first-person statement about harsh realities faced by animals raised in dairy farms with a polaroid that represents the animals "through their own eyes". The pieces are designed in a way that leads the viewer to feel as if the campaign is about a child. This method was used to elicit a strong emotional reaction in viewers. Only after following the #TheLucyProject hashtag, does the viewer learn that the campaign is focused on animal rights.

In collaboration with my colleague, James Thomas, the video aims to elicit the same emotional ties as the posters. Through working on this project, I strengthened my knowledge of Adobe After Effects, while simultaneously gaining skills in collaborative processes.
